Several of the UFC’s biggest stars are on the sidelines this week as they’re both dealing with injuries. That means there’s a ton of media and social media time available for newer and newer talents. In fact, most of us here at “FOX & Friends” spend so much time with the younger, more talented fighters that we often forget that some of these fighters are past their prime.
This includes several former champions.
Amanda Nunes has been busy this week since she claimed the UFC bantamweight belt at UFC 207 by defeating Raquel Pennington last Saturday night. She’s called in to say hi and tell a story or two at “FOX & Friends,” “FOX & Friends Live,” “FOX & Friends First,” “FOX & Friends,” “Fox & Friends” and “Good Day NY.”
For tonight’s action, Nunes gets another opportunity to call in, visit her co-main event opponent Julianna Pena, and join in on the live events.
Pena has been busy this week, too, calling in to “Good Day NY,” “FOX & Friends,” “FOX & Friends Live,” “FOX & Friends First,” “FOX & Friends,” “FOX & Friends” and the more traditional morning shows. She’ll be well-represented here at the FOXSports.com office with her excitement for the fight and continued thoughts about Nunes’ arrival to the bantamweight division.
You can catch all of the action tonight, thanks to the UFC.
WHEN DOES UFC 269 GET UNDERWAY?
Tonight, Nunes faces Pena in what’s sure to be an exciting co-main event. It happens at 10pm ET/7pm PT on FOX & FS1. You can catch all of the action live at home or on your TV.
